Ozone has good stability in favorable conditions and is a powerful oxidizing agent, so concentrated ozone gas is widely used in various chemical processes. EnviroSafe has developed and investigated a concentration and storage process for ozone gas using a silica-gel adsorption system. EnviroSafe has demonstrated that the concentrated ozone oxidizing method is useful for some chemical processes, such as the separation of ruthenium (platinum metal group) by gasification at room temperature, and removal of photo-resist films on semiconductor surfaces by ashing.
